My Versa 3 has stopped displaying steps, heart rate or calories burned. On the home screen the time is shown correctly and the little icons underneath show. What doesn't show are the numbers under the icons. There is nothing showing at all. It is blank there.
When I get to 10,000 steps, the animation shows but the 10,000 steps text doesn't.
Alternative clock faces show as being black until you press on them, then they are shown but without data.
Swiping right usually shows percent battery, but that text is absent too.
When I try and put it in record exercise mode, the walking man appears and a circle forms around, but then reverts to the home screen.
Swiping left twice gives the heart rate icon. Pressing this doesn't show any text for heart rate.
Pressing the fitbit icon show icons for different data sets. None of these have text in them.
In every other respect, the watch works. Data can be uploaded to the app and the app shows most metrics such as changes in steps in real time. The watch doesn't record any sleep metrics.
My son has the same watch and his is working fine.
I have tried shutting the watch down and starting it again, but to no avail. Should I try a factory reset? Although this would be difficult as the menu items (text) don't show, just the lines between them.
Can you please suggest a way forward?
Thanks, Stewart Gatenby

Just some additional info on this problem. When I put the watch on charge, the green or orange circle appears, but no percent battery. When I swipe left from the clock face, the icons appear without the text, so the conclusion is that no text appears anywhere, just icons. What would cause the text to not be displayed?
Also, I have taken a pic of the watch without the text data as mentioned.
