I have a Versa 3 and following the recent forced update regarding 'battery overheating' my battery life has been ruined. Previously my battery would last 3+ days before the need for charging. Since the update this has got progressively worse and now, just a couple of weeks later it barely lasts more than 12 hours. This has made my fitbit completely useless to me, through no fault of my own.
Has anyone else had the same experience?

Yes I've noticed this too. Mine will be fully charged and then down to about 30% 24 hours later. I now have to charge daily when I take it off to shower otherwise the battery would go flat during the day when I need to have it on.

Yes, I just posted about this. The update has made my fitbit useless almost. Google takes over and ruins a good product.

I wont be buying another one, I feel ripped off!

I will not be buying another one as I feel ripped off. It's like charging to rent a product when there is a time limit.

Exactly this. It's so wrong that they can do this to perfectly good devices isn't it? 😡

I won't be either. I'm so cross 😡 I spoke to someone earlier and they said I had qualified for $50 compensation (they couldn't even tell me what it would be in £) That won't go anywhere near replacing a perfectly good device that was working well before the update
