I have a tattoo on my left wrist and it seems to be interfering with my Versa 3 being able to read my heart rate. The reason I believe this to be true is because I have tried it on my other wrist (no tattoo) and my heart rate reads fine. I have never had a problem with my Fitbit Ionic reading my heart rate on my tattooed wrist. Wearing my Fitbit on my right wrist (no tattoo) is uncomfortable for me. My point being, I shouldn’t have to change wrists. Anyone else experience this problem?

Hi @Jillydee Unfortunately it is a well established fact that tattoos can interupt HR reading. It is 8nteresting that you old Ionic managed, but it will be hit and miss, whatever brand or model of tracker you use. If you swap to your right wrist you will get used to it in time, but I know it is annoying

Interesting that you say this is a “well established fact” yet no one from FitBit has mentioned this to me until I brought it up. I purchased a new Fitbit 4-5 wks ago now and haven’t been able to use it properly as first one I thought the heart rate monitor didn’t work. Got sent a replacement which thaw battery was dead on. Got sent a third which I then thought the heart rate monitor didn’t work again. Absolute nightmare

Hi @Jillydee It is a well known fact for ALL wrist worn heart rate monitors, not just Fitbit. I wouldn't expect anyone to point it out to you as it isn't something related to Fitbit products in particular. Google it - the information is out there.
