Versa 3 not receiving text messages

I have successfully paired my new Versa 3 but it won't receive texts. It receives all other notifications from apps. Both Versa 3 and Versa 3 Controls show up in my device settings.

I am having the same problem. Returned my first versa 3 as per Fitbit help support and the problem still exists. This should be dealt with quicker. The cost of the newer version that doesn’t do half the stuff I wanted it for doesn’t make sense.

This didn’t work for me. No matter what I do, which is everything that’s been recommended it does not give me text notifications. So frustrating.

Yea they don’t seem too concerned with fixing it. I had contacted them before as well and they told me the same. Known issue- will get back to you with a solution. Been over a month now.

Yesterday and the day before it works for few hours. Now it doesn't work again... It's annoying... 🙄

HS this issue been corrected yet. Just got the Versa 3 for a gift and i am not getting message notifications. I see the review comments and I am concerned about whether this product will do all it is supposed to.

Looks like the issue has persisted for months with no resolve. I just got my versa 3 today and setup to a “t”. I do not receive text messages on the Fitbit. I do get calendar notifications. 
please advise

I had to turn on notifications always in my phone settings. 
so now “anyone” can see my phone texts which stinks but I can get the messages on my Fitbit now

Got Versa 3  two days ago.  Wouldn’t accept messages from iPhone 10XR.  Versa 2 worked great.      Did all the steps in instructions and searched the boards and did restarts, software reloads and updates per fix instructions and nothing worked.  Finally at 4am I gave up,  and went to setup other apps.  I was just looking around to see want it does differently from a versa 2.   And I figured I’d be returning it in next day or two.  

One change I made was to have the time show continuously on the face, despite the fact that it uses more battery.   I was completely surprised when my texts started showing up right away.   These versa 3 app softwares are way to buggy and have not been properly tested on how they work together.  Haven’t tried phone feature yet but not at least it does what my Versa 2 did.  

Also this new band has great innovation for attaching,  but change in how you put it on is terrible, now the extra length constantly Chaffee on wrist.  Poorly thought out.

Here we are in January 2022 and I am still NOT RECEIVING my text messages through my Versa 3. I did all the steps between my iPhone and my Versa 3 several times and STILL DOES NOT WORK!!!!!  What is going on why can’t we fix this issue. I love my Fitbit yet since this last update I am VERY disappointed!!!

Have to turn off your iPhones setting message preview.
You can see the message but can’t respond.
