Hi there @Barktender, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post, I understand why you're feeling unhappy with your Versa 3. I'll be glad to help you.

Keep in mind that you must see sleep stages in order to see your sleep score information. Please swipe left on the Sleep Score graph, here you can see information about your weekly sleep average and sleep duration. To get more detailed information, see: What's sleep score in the Fitbit app?

If you are not receiving sleep stages, I recommend considering the following:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Regarding the clock face changing on its own, if you haven't done so yet, please restart your watch by following these steps: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If your Versa 3 keeps behaving in an odd way, make sure you've set the clock face correctly and try using another clock face developed by Fitbit and not by a third-party developer. For more information, see: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

I'm having a similar problem with my Versa 3. Some days I get a sleep score, some days I get a sleep pattern. I wear the watch the same way, 2-3 fingers up the wrist. etc.   Figure it may be a Fitbit issue..Anyone else having this problem?

Same problem.  However, in 30 days of wearing the Versa to bed, I've only had a sleep score 4 times.  Calling Fitbit has not had any positive results.

I’m having the same issue.  And I’ve tried all the recommended fixes.  This is very frustrating!!

I'm having this problem with my versa 3 since yesterday. It only recorded sleep until 2h. Today it didn't record any sleep at all.

Have you managed to sort this please. I've been having the same issue. I force close the app on my phone, log out of fitbit and then log back in which seems to work for a few days then back to no score, it's very frustrating

I tried turning mine to the inside of my wrist and it tracked better
