Versa 3 only works when connected to the charger

Hello,

I got a versa 3 as my ionic replacement and have just started having issues.  My watch had been working fine up until last week when I put it on to charge and it wouldn't charge.  I cleaned the pins on the charger and the ports on the watch and then it started charging.  however it instantly charged to 100% and the touchscreen is not responsive.  If I take it off of the charger then it instantly dies because it's not truly charged.  

Is there a way I can try to hard reset my fitbit? I can't open settings to factory reset it because the touchscreen is unresponsive and I'm a little sad that it died about 2-3 weeks to 1 month after the warranty ended. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello moderator who changed my subject. The Fitbit does not work on the charger as I am unable to use the touchscreen or wear it for any benefit. If by works you mean powers on and will sync with the app, then that is correct but I can do nothing else with it.
