My brand new versa 3 keeps rebooting itself. I am not doing anything or touching it. I will feel a vibration on my wrist while I am sitting, and when I look at my watch it shows the fitbit logo and reboots. It has been doing this since I got it less than a week ago and does it several times a day. It's rather annoying. Anything I can do to fix it?

Still re-booting. Did it twice yesterday and once, already, today.
Not a day goes by without at least 1 reboot, often several

If it's down to third party clock faces that's not good. There's a few different clock faces I like, some I've paid for etc. It will be really annoying if we have to stick with clock faces that only fitbit create as one I don't like many of them, and two not many options and three they are large files.

Great answer for the day before Halloween but it's 11 days later and still nothing. They must be putting the best engineers on this problem. Maybe I'm holding it wrong.

Fitbit watch face reboots (reproducibly!) just like it does with third party clock faces. It is NOT (just) a clock face issue

Good luck to everyone! Hope your Versa 3's function perfectly soon! Fitbit CS seems to have given up on helping me. I am returning my Versa 3 and getting the Sense instead through Amazon. Other than vibrating around 4am my Versa 3 actually works fine now after the factory reset. I've had things glitch worse. 😄

Sorry for the delay, I work for the NHS and it's a crazy time.
Oh no sorry to hear your returning it, my versa 3 is still randomly rebooting, sometimes I will go a few day and it won't do it, sometimes it's more than 3 times in a day. I've changed my clock face again, it's not a fitbit one. So will see what happens. I hope you don't face issues with your new versa sense you plan to get. Good luck!

So I reset/wiped my versa 3. Reloaded and am using marc groen dots clock face, I have had one reboot around fifteen minutes after the setup.

**ahem**, seems like the 3rd party clocks are the issue. Fitbit really shouldn't offer them since some clearly cause software malfunctions. I think they have disclaimers for glitches but randomly restarting is far from a glitch. 🤦:female_sign: Hope your watch works properly with a fitbit watch face!

I reset and I have switched to a fitbit clock face "layers" but unfortunately I am still getting random reboots. Twice already this morning. I haven't been sent the new update yet. I'm hoping that also fixes the issue.

I've done a factory reset many many weeks ago, don't use any 3rd party apps or clock faces, and I still get the random restarts.

Mid January 2021.. roughly two and a half months and no fix?
Maybe now that google acquired you, they will "help" you to get on the ball 😛
I can still return mine, since it is < 2 weeks since purchase, but I am waiting to see if fitbit can fix it first... clock's a-tickin' Fitbit!

I noticed the other day that my fitbit had randomly buzzed, and when i looked it was restarting. Just now, my versa 3 rebooted 4 times in row... so I started googling to see if it's a known issue... guess it is.
I miss my pebble.
