Versa 3, red X - states 'data not not cleared, sync and try again,

Hello,

Please may I have some help.  Tried a factory reset on my Versa 3.  First it was in a loop asking me to download the FitBit app in several difference languages.  When I reset it again, it now has a big red X on the display screen informing stating 'data not not cleared, sync and try again'   Any guidance would be appreciated.

@Jainap , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message and efforts. 

Make sure no Bluetooth device is connected to the cell phone or nearby. (Headphones, keyboards, etc.)

Please follow these steps, some you have already done but the order is important:

  • Restart your Versa 3.
  • Please on the phone, go to Settings>Bluetooth and remove all connections that exist with the watch. (Forget, ignore or unpair device depending on the version of the phone's operating system)
  • Turn off Bluetooth and restart your phone. (turn off and on again).
  • When the phone is back on, turn Bluetooth back on but DO NOT try to connect to the Versa 3 from here.
  • Go to the app. From here, try to set up the Watch as a new device.
