My new Fitbit Versa 3 has a blue checkmark within a circle on the display. Nothing works? Very disappointing. Can't get button to work at all.

Hi there, @JoAlger. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3. I understand where your concern is coming from and how you must be feeling.

Please restart your Versa 3 as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hope that helps.

Came to this forum looking for this exact issue......I charged my versa 3 last night, woke up this morning to find the display screen showing a blue checkmark. Cannot get it to change at all, can't swipe it away.

I thought maybe syncing the versa with my fitbit app would help get it going, but no luck there.

It's just frozen, and I can't figure out why.

I'm in the same boat. My app prompted an update last night and my versa has been stuck on the checkmark ever since. It's fully charged and will not respond to powering off from the button. I attempted to change the clock face and failed to do anything.

I just got an update from the app. After the update completed, my display was back. 😉
