Versa 3 settings are greyed out and can't edit anything

I put my versa3 on the charger last night and it locked onto dim mode & press the button to view. Cannot get it to change back to my original settings.

Hi there, @Timmy76. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3. 

As @LZeeW has mentioned, your Versa 3 seems to be in sleep mode. When the sleep mode setting is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders to move are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The Always-On Display clock face is turned off.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in the quick settings.

To turn off Sleep Mode, please swipe right from the clock face on your watch to access the quick settings. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

Hello @Timmy76 and welcome to the Community.  It sounds like your Versa 3 is in Sleep Mode.  Wake the screen by pressing the button and swipe to the right.  If it is in sleep mode, the moon in the top center will be purple.  Tap it to make things normal.  Swipe left to get back to your clock face.

 

If you tap on your profile picture in the upper left of the mobile app screen, then your Versa 3 image, there is a bright pink How To Use option.  It will help you get more familiar with your Fitbit.

Thank you for your reply. Yes it was in sleep mode. I don’t know how that happened. I must have done it when putting it on the charger. Thank you again. Timmy76
