Every time I charge my Versa 3 - the time changes to a time not even close to local time. How do I fix this?

Hi there, @HollyRollo. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post.
Please keep in mind that your Fitbit device may show an incorrect time if it hasn't synced as your Fitbit grabs the time of the device you're syncing with. To make sure your watch has recently synced, go to your Fitbit account, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image.
If by any chance you are running into syncing issues, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
Also, note that the time on your Fitbit device may be wrong after you travel to a different time zone or when clocks change for Daylight Savings. If you changed time zones and the time on your Inspire is still incorrect after syncing, make sure the time zone setting is correct. As @DramaQueenDiva has suggested, please see How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?
If none of the above works for your, I recommend changing your time zone to a complete different one, sync your device, put the correct time and sync again.

Hi,
Thanks for your inputs.
My 1st Question: Do I need to sync my fitbit everyday with my mobile to keep the Fitbit showing right time.
My scenario is, I had synced my fitbit and I use the device. When the battery is 20%, I charge it. After Charging full, I wear the watch and it showing wrong time. I accept after syncing again it shows the right time. But the issue is why everytime it shows wrong time after charging ?
I am using official Fitbit watch face. Does charging the fitbit watch interrupts with internal clock running mechanism ??
Thanks.

Hi, @iballack you do not HAVE to sync your Versa 3 every day, and changing the clock face does not interrupt the time set. Your Versa 3 will hold data for up to 5 days without syncing, but if you do not sync regularly your Fitbit is likely to gradually lose time. A daily sync is probably ideal and every other day or so should be fine, but I personally would not go longer than that because I like the time to be absolutely spot on (and also I like to check my detailed stats - which I can’t do without syncing).
I personally keep “all day sync” turned on so I don’t have to think about it. I find this does not have a significant effect on battery life.
