@KAD44 - things to try, logout and login, you should get a pop-up, when you return to the home phone screen without closing the Fitbit App.
Click on it and it should remake the connection.
If not delete the watch Bluetooth entries and try again.
Or simply use "+ Set up a Device" after clicking on your profile photo.
Hope that helps.

Hi Guy thank you for your advice but I am having no luck at all … I can get my Fitbit watch to pair with my phone but as soon as it is done it then says it is not connected 😡 Meanwhile I have tried setting up new device and my watch finds the Bluetooth connection I receive a 4 digit code and then after around 5/6 minutes I receive the following message - Something went wrong - There was an error while trying to pair your device - ABORT — Any advice? 😬

@KAD44 - something specific so probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.
Also reachable via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.

@KAD44 I can't explain why your Versa 3 stopped syncing, but I can tell you why you can't set it back up as a new device. The Fitbit app requires iOS 13 as a minimum. Your iPhone 6 cannot update part its current OS.
You also need to know that Apple no longer supports the iPhone 6. This means that you don't get security updates. Apple released a major security update after your phone lost support. Time for a new phone.

Hi Laurie I have just checked and I do have the latest iOS 15.2 update on my phone which is still supported by Apple until the next upgrade to iOS 16 in the autumn (information taken from Apple website) .. but thank you for your reply.
