Versa 3 stopped tracking my Skin Temperature

I’ve had my Versa 3 for just over a year and it has all been working fine except that it stopped tracking my skin temperature in November and I haven’t been able to get it to work since then.  I am a premium member and all other health metrics are tracking fine - just no temperature data.  I’ve updated the app and my Versa 3 is up to date.   Any ideas?

Hi there, @MrsSamwich. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Skin Temperature data. 

Please keep in mind the following to make sure you see your health metrics data:

• Wear your device for at least 1 full day (during the day and to sleep at night). Check your stats after you wake up in the morning. Note: skin temperature requires 3 nights of data.
• Make sure the back of your device is in contact with your skin. The band should be snug but not constricting. If you experience any discomfort, loosen the band, and if it persists give your wrist a break by taking it off.
• Most metrics require at least 3 hours of quality sleep. If you move a lot during your sleep or the sleep session is too short, you might not get a reading.
• To track your blood oxygen saturation. For more information, see How do I track blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) with my Fitbit device?

Factors that may cause skin temperature to vary nightly include changes in room temperature, bedding, circadian rhythm, menstrual cycle, or the potential onset of fever.

Thank you Marre. The Skin Temperature function worked perfectly for many months but stopped suddenly on the 4th November and hasn’t worked since. I can see all the other health metrics have carried on recording as before - just the skin temperature is missing. I wondered if it was a software issue but I’ve tried all the various suggestions and it still won’t work. Maybe my versa 3 has become faulty 🤔.
