My Versa 3 is just a nudge over 1 year old - ie. I got it last xmas as a gift. It just recently started to count floors way higher than the actual number, and now stopped counting floors all together.
Does anyone know what hole is for the altimeter, and how to best 'clean' it? I read a bunch of posts - but this is obviously a REAL ISSUE...

Hi there, @fitdonut. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3.
Please keep in mind that your watch tracks floors by measuring changes in air pressure through a small hole in the back of the Versa 3. If this hole becomes blocked then it can cause this problem. With that being said, try cleaning it with by following these steps: How do I clean my Fitbit device?
Nevertheless, please don't forget that Fitbit devices that count floors have a small hole (altimeter sensor) on the back of the device so please don’t insert any items, such as paper clips, into this hole as you can damage your device.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

I've seen you answering others with the same 'cut and paste' - perhaps I should have mentioned I researched this quite a bit with no real solution.
Since this is an ALTIMETER issue, cleaning the contacts won't help - obviously. So simple question - which hole is the ALTIMETER hole? (the only solution is to clean that thing - and please don't say, it'll risk damaging the tracker -- it's already broken afaic - and as a result useless)
Thank you,
Chris
