Versa 3 stopped working after getting wet

Last weekend I went into a pool with my versa 3 on,  when I got out it stopped working..it is supposed to be water resistant..now what do I do?  Invest another $300 on a versa 4?

My versa 2 always stopped working if I went swimming with it. I had it replaced twice, then stopped trying to swim with it. The water resistant is inappropriate advertising… it can handle splashes not swimming.
