After swimming a few laps in the pool my versa 3 is unresponsive. I tried all the suggestions of pushing buttons, letting it dry overnight, putting it on the charger and even trying to force a sync by switching the clock face. It has a blank screen and does not vibrate when the buttons or screen are touched. In a sense it is completely dead.

My Versa 3 stopped functioning after biking in the rain. It was advertised as immersible, up to a meter or so. The green heart sensor light stopped, so the watch no longer records any heart rate information or zone minutes. The watch was 18 months old, 6 months out of warranty. I was hoping customer support would help as I wished to have the watch repaired, however all they were able to offer was a 35% discount on the purchase price toward a new watch. If Fitbit considers a $200+ watch as disposable, I will consider Fitbit a disposable company and will rigorously promote its competitors to the large bike community I belong to.
