Versa 3 stopped working after the update

I went to update my versa 3 today and now it doesn't work. The light on the back is off. I tried the long press to see of it was off. But it still didn't do anything.

Hi there, @Posangie. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out. 

 

It seems like your Versa 3 might have run out of battery while trying to complete the update. With that being said, I suggest trying to charge your Fitbit device around 1-2 hours. If it's not responding, please see Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? 

 

Once you manage to bring your Versa 3 to life, please try updating it again. For more information, see How do I update my Fitbit device?

My fitbit showed 0% for a second last night and then it was showing the fitbit logo. I charged it for 2 hrs and it is still unresponsive. Nothing lights up nor does it vibrate when side button is pushed. I even cleaned the back of my fitbit and cleaned the charger. I changed the charger box and nothing has helped. Why did this update ruin my fitbit?

My Versa 3 is completely dead after the update too. I’m calling customer service today. I think everyone affected by this update should call and repot on social media. This is my 4th Fitbit and up to this point I’ve loved all of them. This so disappointing. I’ll be switching to #garmin

They are sending me a new one since mine was still under warranty. Contact them and see what they can donfor you!

Mine is doing the same thing.  I have only had mine for a few months.  Who do I contact for a replacement?
