Versa 3 stuck on Fitbit Logo

Tried to restart my watch by pressing the side button for 5 seconds (as per instructions) as I wasn’t able to use exercise mode but for the past 12 hours it is stuck on flickering on to Fitbit logo then off nothing non stop and unable to do anything and no usual screen with time, steps etc. how do I fix this?

Hi there, @MugsyB. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out. 

It seems like you performed a factory reset while trying to restart your Versa 3, that would explain why it's only flashing the Fitbit logo. 

With that being said, please follow the steps below:

  • Remove your Versa 3 from your Fitbit account and your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 3 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 3.

If you can't get started with your Versa 3, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? 

Once you link your Versa 3 back to the Fitbit app, please test your watch and see if you can now use the Exercise app. If that is not the case, try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hi @MugsyB  -  as a first step it might be a good idea to charge it as the battery may have drained considerably.

Then try the restart again How do I restart my Fitbit device?
