Hi there, @Achaidh. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3. I'll be glad to help you!

If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend trying the following steps in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

Before trying the above, please be aware that most Fitbit devices store up to 7 days of detailed minute-by-minute data. If you wait longer than 7 days before syncing, you may only see the most recent week's detailed data. Summary data (calories, distance, steps, and floors) will be stored for 30 days. Nevertheless, if your Fitbit device was unpaired from your Fitbit account during this period of time, neither the 7 days can be recovered or restored.

Hi @MarreFitbit. Different person,  same problem.  My Versa 3 has been displaying the Fitbit logo for the last three hours. The device is connected to a Samsung A-11 phone and a Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablet. I've tried the steps you've provided on both devices, but the watch won't pair with either one.

Open to other ideas.... It's good to know that the watch is still tracking.

Thanks!

I have tried the suggested fix 3 times without success . I suspect I’ll need to return it. Irritating.

I am having the same issue with my versa 3.  I contacted fitbit and they told me to send mine in and they would replace it.  I have taken such good care of mine it has no scratches or dents.  It looks brand new but I am told they are sending me a refurbished one. This is not right who knows who owned it before and the shape it's in.  I have not had mine long.  This is not right if it's still under warranty you should be sent a new one.  I paid alot of money for it to stop working then to be told my replacement is used.  This is such bad business.
