I purchased Fitbit last year and after using for 6 months the device is not starting up as stuck on download fitbit app screen .. getting set up a device everytime it's been 4 months now and I am extremely disappointed . Everytime setup is downloaded for 20 mins and then installing starts it the update fails .Everytime I call customer care it says to check for updates and do setup of device but same thing happens and the update fails and the Fitbit versa3 screen is stuck on download fitbit-app to start screen! Please help.

As per the message on the Fitbit device's screen, it seems that your Versa 3 is asking you to pair it properly. With that being said, I'd suggest doing the following:
If you can't get started with your Versa 3, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
