Versa 3 stuck on message "To start download the Fitbit app"

Stop working 20 days ago. Versa 3 states "To start download fitbit app." In several different languages. I have uninstalled a reinstalled the app.  It will not sync.

Hi there, @BB957. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 3 is still unresponsive. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

As per the description of your post, it sounds like your Versa 3 is asking to be paired. With that being said, please try the following steps in the order listed:

  • Check if by any chance your phone's Bluetooth shows the Versa 3 as a connected device. If so, please unpair/remove it.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa 3 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 3.
