Versa 3 stuck on "To start download the Fitbit app" message

I've factory reset my versa 3 as it wouldn't connect to the fitbit app on my phone, also tried to connect it to my partners phone with no luck. Versa 3 now asking me to download the app and connect watch it's been stuck like this for days now. Please someone help.

Hi there, @Le3ann. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out. 

 

As per the message on the watch's screen, it seems that your Versa 3 is asking to be paired to your Fitbit account again. With that said, I'd suggest following the steps below:

 

  • Check if by any chance your phone's Bluetooth shows the Versa 3 as a connected device. If so, please unpair/remove it.
  • Remove the Versa 3 from your Fitbit account and your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 3 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 3.

Hi iv had the same problem and iv tried all of this is there anything else I can try?

I called fitbit and they are sending me a return label as this cannot be fixed
