My Versa (first gen) recently died. I bought a Versa 2 as a replacement. Turnes out the lap count feature is not available in that, later version.

 

So I gave it away and bought a Versa 3. Only to go swimming yesterday.... and realise it is not showing the lap count either!

 

I must have read the forum posts wrong since I thought people upgraded from Versa 2 to 3 to get the lap count back...

 

So, is there any news here, will this be fixed in a software update?

Please note that heart-rate tracking is disabled during your swim workout. 

On the other hand, thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion about showing real-time laps on your Versa 3 while swimming. We rely on feedback like yours to help us develop products and features that we know our community wants to see. I'd suggest adding your comment and vote to this feature: Please add swim lap counting to Versa 3. If this suggestion receives votes from other customers and gains popularity, it will be shared internally with various teams at Fitbit.
