I purchased a Fitbit versa 3 direct from Fitbit in March this year. After about 8 weeks I think, the watch suddenly fell off due to the top strap coming out of the clasp suddenly. Since then this has happened repeatedly to the extent I am afraid to wear the watch in case I lose it. Examining the watch, the top clash seems much looser than the bottom clash (the bottom strap has never once dislodged).
it seems that this is a common issue with versa 3 looking at the boards - has anyone been able to fix the faulty clasp, and if so, how? Spent 30 mins on the chat thing to Fitbit on Friday and they don’t want to know. So my choices are to continue to pursue Fitbit or find a solution to fix the faulty clasp or bin a £160 watch after three months.

I wouldn't recommend trying to fix it. There are plenty of stories on here where watches have fallen off and broken the screen.
If it's clearly faulty then you need to push Fitbit to replace it as soon as possible.
