Versa 3 touch screen is unresponsive despite all troubleshooting steps I tried

After dealing with my Versa 3 constantly rebooting, I figured out that having the Always On Display turned on kept it more stable. Unfortunately, now my touch screen just doesn't work at all. It still turns on, and I can see messages and the clock face stats, but I can't swipe in any direction or tap the screen.

I've tried resetting it multiple times, changing the clock face, charging it then restarting, nothing has worked.

At this point, I'm not sure if it's just a really bad coincidence of software bugs, or if the hardware itself is going bad.
