Versa 3 tracking too many floors

  • I've had my Versa 3 since Oct/Nov. I've also had fitbit trackers (every Charge version ever made) since 2014. Typically when one measurement (ie., floors, steps) goes way off its from a firmware or software update. My Versa 3 has been fine until about 1-2 weeks ago. Since then it has tracked up to 250 floors off EACH DAY! It seems to get worst ech day too. I do care about floor tracking and would not want to delete it. I've "restarted" and "rebooted" the watch already, neither of which fixed it. That's usually the "go to" answer from support. The only thing I haven't tried yet is uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Which I'll try soon. This has to be a known problem w/fitbit. They'll either admit to it, and fix it w/an update or it will mystically fix itself. The only thing as aggravating as the problem is the "awards" I get daily for doing over 100/200 floors, ughhh.

I've had my Versa 3 since April, it counted floors fairly accurate until a week ago.  I tracked 196 floors this morning at work, a one story building.  At this price we should not have to guess on any stat.  I have owned $30.00 .trackers that counted correctly using the same method. It is a basic function and if the developers don't want to spend time to correct, sales should talk to them.  I sadly will be going with a Garmin. more expensive but all functions work properly.  Terribly disappointed in Fit Bit!  .
