I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the reliability and water resistance of Fitbit products. I have experienced significant issues with two of your devices over the past few years, which has led to a loss of trust in the brand and its products.
In March 2021, I purchased a Fitbit Versa 3. Unfortunately, this device stopped working few days ago after I used it during a visit to the beach with my children. This is particularly disappointing as this is the second Fitbit device that has failed under similar circumstances. Prior to owning the Versa 3, I had a Fitbit Versa Lite from 2019 to 2021, which also ceased to function after I entered a swimming pool with it.
Both of these instances highlight a serious concern regarding the advertised water resistance of Fitbit watches. As a customer, I relied on the information provided by your company, which suggests that these devices are suitable for use in water. However, my personal experience indicates otherwise, leading me to question the accuracy of these claims.
My experiences have left me with little choice but to leave the Fitbit ecosystem and look for alternatives.
If you own a Fitibit and want to avoid the same issue, don't expose it to any sort of water (pool, beach, shower, etc), otherwise it will, at any point in time, fail.

Hi @Helvio_Neto - it is indeed disappointing, I also lost my Versa due to water getting in.
It is good advice and I never rely on getting my Fitbit wet, or any other watch, it's costly outside warranty and a nuisance during warranty as you can't follow health during the replacement process. Just not worth the risk, despite what the specifications say.
