Versa 3 will not charge. Optimal Temp Warning for no reason

I bought a versa 3 in May 2021. 2 years later I am unable to charge it. The device is dead. Getting the same message as several people on the chat here about optimal temperature. I contacted Fitbit but because it is more than 365 days old they won't even look at it. Advice is to buy another. Not only is that not sustainable but I certainly don't want to pay a further 200 euro for a device that is only guaranteed to work for a year and there's no repair option. My fiancé had similar issues a month or two after buying his Sense.fortunately that was covered by guarantee however outr experience is Fitbit products just seems faulty and irreparable.  My advice is don't buy if you want something that will last more than a year. If you read the reviews these are very common issues.

Hi @MagDot - it does seem to be a watch fault, however did you try holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start while it is on the charge cable, it may just have enough power to restart.

Hi yes I did try that. I tried all suggestions made by others on the site but with no success.
I then checked Trustpilot and see this is a common issue and suggestions from several contributors is not to buy Fitbit products. Others getting same response as myself from Fitbit. Basically bin it and buy a new one.
I'm really shocked by this, particularly when we are being encouraged to repair reuse and recycle.
