Versa 3 will not synch, says myemail assigned to another device, want to assign email to this fitbit

My Versa 3 will not link/sync. My daughters fit bit also not linking/synching for her. I Deleted app and reacquired app on my smart phone. My App says my email assigned to another device (my daughters fit bit). Want to assign my Versa 3 to my email and re-assign her's to her email. Help

Hello @CochraneGal and welcome to the Community.  Please clarify something.  Does this issue involve two "adult" Fitbits on two standard accounts?  Or your Versa 3 and your daughter's Ace series on a Family account?  This is honestly a wild guess on my part.  If this involves two standard accounts, then you should try removing both devices from both accounts, remove the devices from the list of Bluetooth devices on both phones, then set them back up as new devices on the correct account.  Removing devices does lose unsynced data, but you might not have a choice.  I don't have any experience with a Family Account.  You can browse the Family Account forum to see if another user had this same issue.
