Versa 3 won’t charge or turn on

So, this is my 7th Fitbit in the span of 6 years. They all end up doing the same thing…my current versa 3’s (which I’ve already had numerous issues with and was replaced with a refurbished one not even a year ago) battery was draining rapidly. So I charged it, wore it throughout the day and just now, it got really hot on my wrist, like it burned my wrist, so I looked down and the screen went blank. Now it seems to be fried. What do I do?
I contacted  customer service but they just told me to buy another one (as they always do, honestly- Fitbit has the worst warranty coverage and customer service. So disappointed. Especially after their product that I paid my money for just burnt the poo out of my wrist)
