I purchased a Versa 3 thirteen months ago.
3 days ago it was low battery so I put it on the charger. Battery kept draining. Used my wife’s Versa 3 charger and still would not charge. Both chargers work on her watch.
I did all the steps to clean contacts. Eventually watch completely died. Spoke with online chat agent who sent my problem to someone else. I received an email this morning that I am a month past
warranty and all they can offer is 35% of a new versa 3. Pay $300 last year and $200 this year to have a smart
watch last one year. Ridiculous.
What about offering to repair it. If that is the only solution Fitbit has for me I will buy a different brand of watch and roll the dice with another product. This has been very disappointing for someone who really enjoyed the watch for a year.

Yes mine won’t charge either. I’m buying Apple.

Hi @Bmack44 - it sounds like the cleaning was not successful.
This is an interesting comparison, if both chargers work for your wife's and neither for yours but it has been charging ok for 13 months.
Try inspecting the back of the watches for differences and try How do I clean my Fitbit device?
@SunsetRunner- a good starting point here which describes cleaning and charger checking is How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen

Hey Guy. Did all that help desk asked me to do and your suggestions as well. My wife’s watch was a Xmas gift this year. Less than a month old with new charger. I am pretty sure the battery may be faulty but I will never know. As said in my original post, I will never buy fitbit again. Considering returning my wife’s watch as well as I’m still in the 30 days return policy.
