Versa 3 won't charge

I have had my Versa 3 for less than 6 months, it hardly ever will charge. I want to throw it through the window. What a waste of money. My old Fitbit lasted for years, this is a piece of rubbish.

Hi there, @LC15. Welcome to the Community Forums. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration. @Guy_ Thanks for your help.

As a first approach, please try restarting your Versa 3. For instruction, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If the restart doesn't work and you haven't felt a vibration on your watch during this process, I recommend trying the following steps:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Hi @LC15 - the watch contacts need to be clean and the charger not faulty.

Ask Fitbit for a new charge cable [or 2 in case one doesn't work ] under warranty.
