Hi,
I think this is a no brainer, but when pushing a wheelchair the steps (almost completely) stop counting. Is this because I'm not moving my arms?

You're correct. It's the same problem when pushing a shopping trolley or when using a treadmill and holding the rails. Basically, if your arms are not moving normally they are not tracking steps normally.

Well, there is only one solution then.
The person in the wheelchair has to roll the wheels them self then.. I'm not pushing anymore..
(Just kidding of course.)
