My fitbit wouldn't sync unless on charge so I contacted customer service 4 times. I completed all trouble shooting and was told to factory reset. My fitbit will now not pair with my app. The agent now has told me it is because the app needs to update which is being rolled out between now and 10th April. In the meantime I have no tracker, not even to use just as a watch. Very disappointed with the service.

Hi @Noonoo.j.p - versions of this Fitbit App do have syncing problems but generally not terminal.
As part of the troubleshooting did you remove the watch Bluetooth entries from the phone and do the following. Logout of the Fitbit App, swipe off the Fitbit window, clear the storage cache and force stop it on Android phones and restart the phone.
Restart the watch and in the Fitbit App, device page (Connected to) click Add more devices and select your device and replace.
If this doesn't work the Bluetooth on the watch may be faulty. You can check this using this link.
What should I do if I lose my Fitbit device?

Hi there, @Noonoo.j.p. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 3 is still not pairing to your phone's Bluetooth settings. crashing itself suddenly. I understand why you're feeling disappointed, we're here to help!
I agree with @Guy_. Please note that the difficulty you are having to set up your Versa 3 usually happens when you perform a factory reset without first unpairing the watch. In order to solve this issue, I'd recommend trying the steps below:
If you can't get started with your Versa 3, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

This is not an isolated incident. My watch did the same thing several weeks ago, stopped syncing. I went through this entire protocol; unpair watch, factory reset watch, uninstall app, turn off phone and watch, turn back on, reinstall app, turn on bluetooth, pair watch, set up wi-fi......such a process. It worked for a couple of weeks, but 7 days ago it stopped syncing again. How do we fix this without having to go through this entire process over again?

Mine stopped syncing about the same time as yours. It's frustrating.

I followed these steps, and finally got it to sync, but while the app will still track steps, calories, and heart rate, it doesn't save the information, and doesn't track sleep at all. Heart rate is always the current 'just now' rate. The watch works fine, I think it's the app that's the problem.
