Versa 3 won't receive email notifications

Hello 

i bought my Versca 3 and no matter what or how I have it up I am not getting any G mail E mail notifications and I am very frustrated. My issue is being handled by the higher authority.  
Nor sure what else to do. At least now I am receiving texts!!!
