Versa 3 won't receive notifications after upgrading my phone

How do I rest my watch as I can't get my notifications on it since I got a new phone

Hi @Kazza1135 - changing a phone has to be done so that the watch transfers the Bluetooth connections to the new phone properly, because it is probably trying to sync with the old phone still.

And also notifications may have to be setup again on the new phone, even if the watch is known to the account. This includes On-Wrist calls.

What actions had you done on the old phone previously, such as

  • turn it off
  • Remove Bluetooth Versa 3 entries from it
  • Turn Bluetooth off
  • Logout of the app

The best way to restart the watch cleanly is to use Shutdown from the watch Settings menu.

Wait at least 10 seconds for it to complete before placing it on the charger to restart and charge it.

Also restart the new phone again.

To ensure a good Bluetooth connection, log into to the Fitbit App and then go to the phone home screen without closing the App.

A sync popup should appear, click on it which will make a new pair and link to the watch, if it is still not connecting.
