Versa 3 won't respond to anything

My device is a few months old. The other day it was fully charged and while wearing it vibrated and then locked up. It will no longer sync to my phone. The device will not turn on or off. It keeps vibrating randomly. I get the Fitbit logo and then a line will go down the screen and it goes black. 
I have held the side button for 10 seconds and longer, with no change. It continues to randomly vibrate.

To better assist you, please confirm that you've restarted your Versa 3 as instructed here How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If your Versa 3 keeps showing the Fitbit Logo only, please try the steps below: 

 

  • Remove your Versa 3 from your Fitbit account and your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 3 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 3.

If you can't get started with your Versa 3, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
