Versa 3 won't restart

My Versa 3 will not let me restart the device. I push the button on the side and the music controls pop up, click it again it turns off, press and hold with the music controls on or off for the 10 to 30 seconds and nothing. Watch face doesn’t even appear when I tap or press the button on the side. I’ve tried to sync it to see if an update was needed, device connects but won’t sync with the app. This has to be the glitchist Fitbit I’ve ever owned. First it came with a defect in the band connections, randomly turning off, or refusing to sync at various times, and now I haven’t been able to use it for the last 3-4 days. It sounds like multiple people are having problems similar to this. Is there a fix being worked on?

Hi @Misscakes - the button is quite sensitive but there is a way to restart it without the button.

However if you are having syncing problems try restarting the phone instead.

If you need to restart the watch for some other reason swipe the watch face left and click on Settings and at the bottom Shutdown [you may lose some data if it hasn't synced with the app so resolve that first if possible]. Wait at least 10 seconds before placing on charge to restart it and charge it.

Thanks! Usually when it isn’t working properly restarting my versa fixes everything, but I couldn’t figure out how to get it to turn off. Restarting it fixed the black screen and the sync issue.

I'm having the same problems. It tells me it's waterproof up to so many feet, I was doing my laps not deep and then it stopped working and I cannot get it back on. I've only had since November of 2022 so not even a year. Can I replace it for free?

Hi @Creekview2021 - your watch should be under warranty and can be replaced where you bought it.
