Please help, I am so frustrated.

I have been trying to get text messages since I got this on Tuesday. I spend a little time each day trying to figure it out, but I'm having no luck.

I searched through all these threads and found several ideas, but none of them worked. My latest try, based on an answer, here:

1 - unpair fitbit from bluetooth

2 - turn off bluetooth

3 - force stop fitbit app

4 - turn off phone for two minutes

5 - turn on phone and try again

No luck

I've verified my phone's software is up to date, it's an Android, so it should work, I've turned off the fitbit completely.

I've tried each of the methods I found on the forum, at least two times each. It's not going to happen.

What app do I need to make this work?

Note: My BFF is technologically stupid, and was able to be completely up and running in 1/2 hour. I do IT for a living, and am baffled.

Please, HELP!! TY

Hi @Kathilliana  you must have a minimum of Android 8 for it to work. What do you have?

I think to do all that, my Fitbit needs to be connected to my phone. Fitbit doesn't show as a valid app for notifications.

When I try to connect I get, "An app is needed to use this device."

Apparently, it's not the Fitbit app.

Is there anyone who knows what app my Android 12 is looking for to connect these devices?
