Versa 3 won't show my stats when I swipe up

When I swipe up from my clock face, I only get a blank screen. I no longer get all my stats such as weather, steps, weight, sleep, heart rate etc.

Also when I press and hold the side button,  I get the error message " Something went wrong, but it might work if you try it again." It never works.

Hi there, @esoper. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3.

Please restart your Versa 3 as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hope that helps.

Hi, @esoper - first, try going to the Settings menu on the watch and at the bottom Shutdown.

Wait 10 seconds and place on the charger to restart it and charge it.

I’ve restarted mine 3 times

I'm having the same issue and restarting and changing faces isn't fixing it!!

Best Answer

I can't get to the settings on my watch. Only shows my clock face.

Best Answer

Hi @Jfblondii  - try double tap of the screen and then swipe the face to the right to get to Quick Settings and disable always on, sleep and do no disturb icons and enable wrist wake (watch) icon.

I know how to do that. But my screen doesn't change from the clock face. I
can't get it to swipe at all!!
Best Answer

@Jfblondii  - did you double tap the screen or push the button? It could be stuck in Always On mode.

Check in the Fitbit App, click profile photo, device photo and make sure quick view is enabled. This will ensure your real watch face appears when you raise your arm.

Have you also restarted your watch?

I get exactly the same. I can swipe left and right, no problem, but when I swipe up to see my daily stats it’s just a black screen.

software update perhaps?

Best Answer
I have checked for updates, but none. I also can't swipe at all. And when I
have one that changes from clock face to stats it also doesn't change.
Best Answer
Yes I have done all of this!

@Jfblondii , @justlogmein @Jo6672 , probably best to contact Fitbit support to help you with a factory reset to get back your widgets not showing, because if your watch is outside warranty there is always a risk the watch might not work afterwards.

If it is under warranty still, go to the watch Settings, About Versa 3 menu and select factory reset.

But make sure your watch is well charged first and  do  not touch your watch for several minutes to leave it time to complete the process.

Then press the button a second to restart it.

Hold button for 10 seconds and reset worked. Thank you!

@Jo6672  - thanks, that's just a restart, but good to know it works to solve it.

Hi @KristinaKP  - if you have a new watch it can happen that it takes a few days for things to work, if a full Shutdown restart doesn't resolve it.

If it continues you can chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support.

Is your Fitbit newer? I contacted Fitbit and they gave me a new one as it
was still in warranty.
