Versa 3 won't show the same amount of calories than the Fitbit app

It seems like once one thing is finally sorted, the steps syncing error a few months back, it’s now something else!

my versa 3 is displaying 684 cals burnt whilst the app says 1180… the app is correct as it’s almost 4pm here.

I have shut down my versa and tried syncing multiple times, no luck.

Good to see you participating in the forums @ErinIsobella

Thank you for providing the information regarding this difficulty that you are experiencing with your Versa 3.

Can you please check if you have "MobileTrack" activated?

MobileTrack is a Fitbit feature that uses your phone's sensors to count steps when you don't have your Fitbit with you.

It's possible that the steps recorded on your phone overwrite those on your Versa 3.

Here's how to turn this feature off:

  • In the Fitbit app, tap the device icon (top left).
  • There you'll see the devices paired with your account.
  • If you see the "MobileTrack" option, tap it and remove it from the account.
