Versa 3 won't show weather in clock face

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hey,

Versa 3 stopped displaying weather on clock face (CarimClock), I've tried different clocks (Nothing Special for example) and had the same problem. Restarted my watch, restarted Bluetooth connection, rescynced the app. Nothing is working. I'm using particular clock face to have the weather on and suddenly I can't see it.

Any ideas?

Thank you

If those are 3rd-party clock faces, there has probably been a change on Fitbit's end that the developer has not yet kept up with.  If any clock faces "by Fitbit" show the weather, try them.  If not, you can keep trying other 3rd-party faces with weather to see if you can find one that works, or just have to live without it for a while.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi @martini00004  - while you are looking, have you tried swiping up to see weather and evolution.

It possibly provides more useful information than you get in a clock face.

You may have to click Manage to get the weather to show when you swipe up.

Note: There is a risk of battery depletion when using a third party clock face that shows weather, depending on how it has been done.

Thanks for your replies.

@JohnnyRow tried few clocks and none will show the weather. The ones 'by fitbit' are not great so I didn't even bother. I need a simple clock face, don't need loads of stats but weather is a must have for me. I will try and use one of the 'by fitbit'' ones to see if it's a bigger issue than only with 3rd party developers.

Hopefully whatever happened will get fixed soon as this is so annoying.

@Guy_  I don't want the full weather breakdown, just temperature at a glance any time I look on my watch. Which I had and was working perfectly fine till yesterday.

@martini00004  - understandable, if you liked the clock face you had and it's not working try contacting the developer.

But first restart both watch and phone and sync.

@Guy_  just checked ALL clock faces made by Fitbit and not a single one has weather on so I can't even check if it's a 3rd party developers or it's just not working full stop.

I've already restarted everything multiple times, no joy.

@martini00004  - good checking, contact the developer of your watch face then.

Also ask how frequently they update, or if you can manual refresh the weather, because it can use more battery if it does it too regularly.

@Guy_ I will try that, thanks.

Not really that worried about batter life, my watch do last about 6 days on average. I'm not a heavy user. I would happily charge it twice a week to have info I need at a glance.

@martini00004  - out of curiosity, what do you see for weather if you swipe up?

@Guy_  weather in my current location, as always.

So this is working as intended.

Do you think this can be related? Or just the issues with the developer as you suggested?

@martini00004  - that's good it's working for the watch.

May be just an issue with the face.
