Versa 3 won't stay connected to my LG G7's Bluetooth

My versa 3 frequently disconnects from my LG G7 one telephone quite frequently ( at least a couple times per week). Meaning that I need to turn my versa off in order to reconnect. I have restarted my phone, changed service providers and still occurs. I’m at a loss. Any suggestions?

Hi there, @Scott1159. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out.

In order for your Versa 3 to work properly with your Android phone, we recommend:

  • Make sure you’re using the latest version of the Fitbit app. For more information, see How do I use the Fitbit app?
  • Make sure your Fitbit device is up-to-date. For more information, see How do I update my Fitbit device?
  • Keep your phone nearby with the Fitbit app running in the background. Your phone should be within 30 feet (10 meters) of your watch.

Also, please make sure that your LG phone meets the requirements listed here.

If it does, please try the steps below:

1. Remove the Versa 3 from your phone's Bluetooth settings and in the Fitbit app.
2. Restart your Versa 3.
3. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
4. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
5. Set up your Versa 3.

Hope that helps.
