Versa 3 won't stay connected to my iPhone 12 Pro

I guess it's time to spend the money on an apple watch.  At first, I had to make sure the FitBit app was always in the background open.  Then, it came to the point that I had to keep opening the app to sync.  It's frustrating, exhausting and really makes me devalue what could be a great watch.  It just isn't meant for the IOS ecosystem, and that could be because of IOS, and because of Google.

Hi there, @Delacombo. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products into consideration.

I recommend the following steps in order:

  1. Remove the Bluetooth connection between your iPhone 12 Pro and your Fitbit device: On your phone, go to Settings, Bluetooth, the information icon next to the name of your Fitbit device and then Forget This Device.
  2. Turn off Bluetooth on your iPhone 12 Pro and please turn your phone off and back on
  3. Restart your Versa 3. See How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  4. Once your phone and Versa 3 are back on, turn on Bluetooth and try the set up process again. If you have trouble connecting your watch to Wi-Fi, see Why won't my Fitbit watch connect to Wi-Fi?

Hope this helps.

Still having this issue, and those steps do not fix the issue for more than a day.

Well I chatted with someone online already. They basically said the same thing that has been posted multiple times for the past few years. Restart phone, restart versa, unpair, pair, etc. It obviously doesn’t work. I didn’t know this was an issue until I got the versa 3 and have been read online forums about the issue dating back to 2019. I’ve literally spent hundreds of dollars over the years on fitbits, so this is really disappointing. I definitely won’t be buying another one.
