Versa 3 won't stay connected to my phone's Bluetooth settings

I have a versa 3 and an iPhone 12 Pro running on iOS 16.6. My problem is the Fitbit constantly loses Bluetooth connectivity about 5 times a day. I have health issues and use the Fitbit to track several things during the day. I keep my phone with me and the app open but still lose connection. Why?

Hi there, @Stevealf. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3.

In addition to the steps you've done, please try the following in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Versa 3 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 3.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 3.
  • Once your Versa 3 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again. 

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 3 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

I have done all the suggestions you have kindly shared with me in the past and they always work for a short period of time. I have come to the conclusion that the problem is a hardware problem in the versa 3 and that the only solution is to upgrade to a new Fitbit.

I am the same since yesterday! Versa 2 and iPhone 13.  I got it to update after charging my phone right up and the Fitbit too. Hasn’t synced since
