Versa 3 won't stay connected to my phone's Bluetooth

Thought I was upgrading from my Galaxy. Got the verse of 3A few days ago. My husband has one also. We both have the same problems continually disconnect have done all the steps over and over and over again very unhappy think I'm going back to my Galaxy any tips?
