Same as everyone. Won't stay connected  just like a lot of people please fix the issues. I have disconnected restarted to factory reset and also reinstalled the app. Nothing from suggestions worked.

Hi there, @tjstonebraker. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3. I understand where your concern is coming from.

May I know the model of your mobile phone? Please make sure it meets the requirements listed here.

Keep your phone within 30 feet of your watch. Open the Fitbit app on your phone and sync your watch. The Fitbit app must remain running in the background on your phone for your voice assistant to work. Your phone must have an internet connection, either through Wi-Fi or a cellular data signal.

For troubleshooting steps, please confirm you've followed the step provided here Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Hope that helps.

I have done everything above. My phone is a Samsung  A761. My versa 2 didn't have these issues with the same phone. Sometimes even within a few feet of my phone will show not connected.

@tjstonebraker Thanks for the update!

While reading your post I was wondering if your Versa 2 is still connected to your phone's Bluetooth settings? If so, please try the steps below to properly connect your Versa 3 to your account:

  • Check if by any chance your phone's Bluetooth shows the Versa 3 and the old Fitbit device as a connected devices. If so, please unpair/remove them.
  • Remove the Versa 3 and old Fitbit device from your Fitbit account and your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 3 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 3.

If you can't get started with your Versa 3, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Note: You can't connect multiple devices that use the Fitbit Gallery to one account. For Fitbit Charge 3, Fitbit Charge 4, Fitbit Charge 5, Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Inspire series, Fitbit Luxe, Fitbit Sense, and Fitbit Versa series, only connect one of these devices to your account at a time.

See you around.

It has been removed as well. From my Bluetooth and phone also my app. I have completely deleted and reinstalled the application from my phone and factory  rest the versa 3 and reinstalled still having the same issues. It isn't a consistent thing it will come and go in connection.

I already disregarded this response when you asked about her versa 2 watch..it's a versa 3..if you can't get it right, how will we?

I think she was asking if my 2 was still connected. I had said that my 2 didn't have this issue. But I did read that if one versa is still connected and you try to connect another it may cause issues. So I did make sure my versa 2 was completely unconnected from my phone before I did my versa 3 set up.

Same problem here versa 3. Had for a few years. 100% yesterday. Today keep getting pop up lost Bluetooth pairing. So I forget device re add it. Good for maybe 30 min and same thing again. Annoying since I rely on the notifications on my watch for my phone. Have been a Fitbit owner for over 10 years. May have to start looking at garmin. This has happened many times to me

I am getting VERY frustrated with mine. I have had the Versa three about 2 months and Ive really had nothing but problems with it. I Absolutely LOVE the fitbit trackers better than any other brand and the APP is SOOOOOO much better but very disappointed in this upgrade since I have had it.
