My charge 3 just started losing its automatic paring.  I have to keep Bluetooth opened all the time so I can delete the connection in order to allow it to connect.  It pretty much happens every time I access the app.  It started while I was far from cellular access/no WiFi but has continued since I now have WiFi and cellular

Hi @Mom2Jacob  which device do you have - Charge 3 or Versa 3? That way these posts can be put in the correct forum area so you can get the best responses.

It's a versa 3!  I always think charge 3 because that was my last watch.  I'll try to delete the charge 3 post

Hi there, @Mom2Jacob. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 3 won't stay connected to your phone's Bluetooth. I understand your concern, we're here to help you. @Odyssey13 Thanks for moving the post.

In addition to the steps you've tried so far, please try the steps below in the order listed. Important: Please be aware that most Fitbit devices store up to 7 days of detailed minute-by-minute data. If you wait longer than 7 days before syncing, you may only see the most recent week's detailed data. Summary data (calories, distance, steps, and floors) will be stored for 30 days. Nevertheless, if your Fitbit device was unpaired from your Fitbit account during this period of time, neither the 7 days can be recovered or restored.

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from once again your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 3 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

I decided not to pair or sync the app and suddenly it started working great.  The only annoying part was it kept asking my to pair over and over.  Yesterday I decided to pair and sync and it is finally working as it was before issues.  Only thing remaining from my vacation now is several days have the same steps/calories/ miles on day screen
