Background: I walk very fast and Fitbit always thinks I'm running, but running very very slowly, which I think is adversely affecting my Cardio Fitness score.
I turned off the exercise auto-detect settings on my Fitbit Versa 3 since I think it is inaccurately capturing my exercise activity in these situations as a result, but my Fitbit is still auto-detecting my exercises. I've tried restarting my Fitbit and turning the setting on and off multiple times but cannot get my Fitbit to stop auto-detecting my exercise.

Did you turn off auto-detect for Walk as well as for Run? I would think you would want auto-detect still on for Walk but off for Run. But the way to be sure is to use the on-wrist Exercise App and call it a Walk before you even begin.

@jakmak There is an additional feature in the Versa models that is different from the auto-recognition feature that you turned off. It is called Run Detect and it opens the Run shortcut in the Exercise app. To turn it off:
You wrote that you walk briskly. I bet this is enough to activate Run detect.

I considered the "Run Detect" but thought that opened the Exercise App that would be apparent on the screen display, but OP never mentioned that, but you are probably right.
