Versa 3 won't sync with Bitmoji & can’t fix Weather app to F instead of C

New Versa 3 & iPhone 16 ProMax. Will not sync with Snapchat acct to use the Bitmoji clockface which I LOVED on my Versa 2 & the MAIN reason I only upgraded to Versa 3 since Versa 4 did not support that clockface. Contacted Support with both Snapchat & Bitmoji & tried everything suggested but it just won’t sync. Also, my Weather app is stuck on Celsius & I can’t figure out wherever to change it. Very frustrating.

Hi @MzBiddle, it's nice to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 3 won't sync with Bitmoji and that your Weather app is stuck on Celsius. Thanks for letting us know that you contacted Support with both Snapchat and Bitmoji and tried everything suggested. I'll be happy to assist.

Do you get an error message when you try to get the Bitmoji clock face?

To change the units used for the temperature in the Weather app:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon > your device > Gallery Weather.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. In the Temperature Unit section, tap Units and choose the unit you want to use.

If the above doesn't do the trick, I'd recommend to try switching to a clock face that actually shows both units of measurements, Celsius and Fahrenheit, as not all clock faces will show the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit even when you've set it to be that way. For more information, see How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

Hi Andrea, thank you so much for your reply and advice.  I followed your instructions and was able to successfully correct my Weather app to the correct units.

My other issue is still unresolved.  No, I'm not getting any error message when I try to get the Bitmoji clock face.  I'm familiar with the process since I had it on my Versa 2 until it died.  I went to the Versa 3 specifically so I could keep the same clockface.  The hangup seems to be when I try to 'connect' my Snapchat to Bitmoji.  I have both accounts.  I have uninstalled and re-installed both.  I'm able to use my Bitmoji on my texts without issues. (I have an iPhone 16 ProMax). When I am in the Fitbit app, I've selected the Bitmoji clockface, given all 'permissions', go to Settings and chose 'connect' to Snapchat.  The next screen is this and it jiust seems to be stuck and will not  Authorize Application Snapchat 2.jpegconnect .  I hit 'Connect, Continue & Open' and it just keep going in the loop but will not connect.

Hi @MzBiddle. Thanks for getting back to us and for adding your screenshot. I'm glad that you were able to correct the weather units and will   be happy to continue assisting you.

I remember that I saw this Bitmoji issue in the past but I haven't seen it lately. Let me ask my team if there's another troubleshooting that we can do and will get back to you.

I tried to attached the 2nd screen that shows it's supposed to connect to Snapchat but it gave me an error on the attachment so I removed it.

Thanks again ... I really can't figure out why it won't work.

Hi @MzBiddle. I'm still trying to help you...

Before you contact our team. Please check that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app.

Also let me know if Bitmoji app shows as connected with Fitbit:

  • Go to Snapchat: tap settings on the top right corner tap Partner connections. It should show as connected with Fitbit.

I appreciate this!  Yes, Partner Connections confirms connected app: Fitbit.  Under Fitbit Systems, it shows: Versa 3 Version 128.6.17.
